Olympic ski area around Innsbruck/Igls
The Patscherkofel ,our house mountain 2.200 m - the mountain in Igls’ backyard - the cable car station is situated in 300 m from the SPORTHOTEL. A beautiful ski-area with olympic and family run and its beginners slopes. Snow guarantee from December till the sunny March through most modern snow making machines. “Olympia express” four chair lift carries 1.600 persons per hour to the ski areas with an picturesque landscape. The whole Olympic ski areas inclusive Stubai Glacier offer 130 km of runs with 63 lifts up to 3.200 m. A free ski shuttle from the tourist office Innsbruck-Igls is to our guests disposal with departure directly in front of our hotel.
Ski schools & children
Snowsport Igls – Wolfgang Platzer just opposite of our Sporthotel: elementary courses, ski school for children and guided ski tours, carving, snowboard and cross-country. They offer an active-wellness program with snow-shoe hiking, snow-cruising and winter-nordic-walking.
Bobo’s Kinderclub: At the miniclub, your children from the age of 3 years onwards will learn skiing in a playing style and we are sure the young guests will enjoy it.
1) Miniclub with 2 1/2 hours daily for children at the age of 3
2) Children's club for children between 5 and 14 years: 2 1/2 hours or 4 hours for beginners and advanced skiers. If desired also with food at lunch. They will look after children with loving care – entertainment – games – pleasure.
3) Children's look after also for non-skiers!!

Olympic bobsleigh run Igls
At the olympic bobsleigh run your guests have the experience of an exciting run through the famous loop and the labyrinth at over 100 km/h. A special attraction - where your guests speed down in a bobsleigh steered by an experienced driver.
Winter hiking paths
All winter hiking paths are cleared of snow – around Igls: To Patsch, approx. 2,5 km or Lans 2,5 km.
Tobogganing
If we have enough snow, walk up to Patscherkofel-Heiligwasser, approx. 1 ½ hours, and enjoy a well-maintained natural toboggan run (approx. 3 km). through the pine woods.
Ice skating
Ice skating is at the ice rink behind the station of the Patscherkofel cable car, daily from 10.00 a.m. till 08.00 p.m. It is possible to rent skates!
Tennis
In Igls we have a tennis court with 3 indoor sand courts and one indoor squash court. It is situated only 5 minutes walking distance from the Sporthotel.
