Mountain biking & cycling
gls is situated on a sunny plateau high above the city of Innsbruck; as such it is ideally suited and virtually destined for cycling and mountain biking. The mountain bike track is situated next to the Patscherkofelbahn base station (just 2 mins from the hotel), this route is 9.3 km long and negotiates height differences of 300m via Heiligwasser and on to Patsch, then return to Igls. You can also start the ride at the Patscherkofel shelter and continue to the summit.
