Health & Vitality
a. Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking is active walking using special poles equipped with hand strap and vibration-absorbing rubber tips. By using these poles – in a way similar to cross-country skiing – all the important muscle groups are exercised in a gentle way. It is the ideal introduction to ‘gentle’ endurance training and is suitable for all age groups.
140km Nordic Walking trails along the Inn and Sill rivers, 18 different courses covering a total of 100 km in Igls – Lans – Sistrans – Rinn for different ability levels, Running and Nordic Walking Competence Centre.
b. Run & Walk – Park IGLS–Lans
12 tracks – 4 starting points – 82 km
Quite strenuous ascents are followed by relaxing stretches on the plane, always accelerating as it goes down again - as if the mountains were specially made for this.
The tracks are all marked according to the ‘Walking in Tirol guide system’ and satisfy the guide lines of the Tirol provincial government and the Tirol Tourist Board. This guarantees superb routes which have been selected by experts and consequently they were marked and classified accordingly.
c. Vitality trails & Kneipp circuit
Water treatments, herbs & teas, movement therapy, a balanced diet, positive action and thought – these are the 5 pillars of the Kneipp approach to good health. Kneipp facilities are located at the beginning of the running trail in Igls.
d. Alpine Garden

This botanical garden – the highest in Europe at an altitude of 2,000m - covers an area of 2 hectares and boasts more than 400 different high-Alpine plants. Open daily June to September from 9am-5pm.
